Ubuntu


Video quality's not so good, but this is my first video of my Ubuntu Dapper install with Xgl/Compiz functionality. It looks almost exactly like Windows Vista's Aero Glass!

    micros0ft likes to rip ideas. . . . DIE MICROS0FT oh, ppl use some screen recorder i dont know what it is, and i have sound and print issues in ubuntu. . . and i ugraded to edgy cuz it’s way faster to load then dapper (i got the dapper cd)

    1ghz processor, 256 of ram and a ATI or nvidia graphics card should be enough, but it depends on wich distro you are using,
    There is also aiglx, wich can be used instead of xgl. Some people say that aiglx is faster than xgl.

    Vista really not even out yet, Xgl on Linux is! So when it does we should be saying: Wow that looks like Xgl on Linux! heehee ;D Nice Video
