As you say Jason is traditionalist but he is conflicted and he chose to follow the social teachings of the Bahai Faith even if he doesn’t know the Bahai Faith. The Bahai Faith is all about the SPIRIT of the AGE.
For example, you will only find in the Bahai Faith where a Women doesn’t need to cover her head, and Jason prefers that, but it’s not in the Bible.
That’s why it’s always better to move on to the next step and learn the Calculus Book when a new Age has come.

Yes, as they say, the Bahai Faith is a Changeles Faith of GOD that came throughout the AGES at one time, Hindu, and at an other time, Buddha, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Babyism and other religions we don’t even know today that appeared in the America or Africa and so on, but only social laws changes according to time.
It’s a very facinating discovery I have ever made, as it reconcilies and resolves all the divisions of Today world.

The difference is that I know the source of the truth you believe in, which is the Bible, but you don’t know yet the source of my truth, the Bahai Faith.
If you are open mind and do a research as Jesus asked you to do, you will embrace it as it’s a Changeless Faith of God that came again and again throughout the Ages. The only thing that changes are just social laws.

I like that Properbs, but that’s a spiritual laws which is timeless.
The laws that need to change according to time we are living are social laws of religion to be in harmony with science and changes of the time.

When I said that religion needs to be progressive and social laws need to change according to time, it just means people need to have an open mind and embrass what make sense and is supported by reason.
I agree with you, you don’t need to change the teachings of the Algebra book, but there is already a Calculus book with new social teachings, and you need to search for it, as Jesus says that every believer needs to do a research on the truth.
Search for it and you will find it.

Some people were introduced to their chosen religions a certain way. I was introduced by probably the best bible teacher and most spiritual being i know: My mother. She taught me who God was, who he (or she) is and, if you praise Him and keep Him first in your life , what he can do in your life. Thats what I know. its not about being brainwashed, its about knowing who God REALLY is. .

It all goes back to Interpretation. . There are some great Bible teachers in this time that can take verses out of the bible and shows how these verses applies to what we are going through the present day. Charles Stanley, Jesse Duplanis, Joyce Meyer (a woman) are all outstanding bible teachers.

WOW, you guys are at totally opposite ends of the spectrum. . Edru you are more liberal as far as religion goes and there is nothing wrong with that. Jason is more a traditionalist, but there is nothing wrong with that.
BTW, I checked out a few videos on the Bath’i faith and i see where you get your philosophy from. Bath’i is a very progressive religion or “modern day” type per se. But a lot of things in the bible STILL applies to the things going on today also. .
